2. Application status of plastic materials in small appliances(1) Main materials for exterior parts
▶ ABS: shiny, easy to apply, but not resistant to high temperatures;
▶ PP: low cost, good flow but poor dimensional stability;
▶ PC: high strength, high temperature resistance, good transparency, but easy to crack;
▶ PC/ABS Alloy: excellent comprehensive performance, but higher price.

3. Plastic materials for general small household appliances.(1) Microwave

High temperature resistance is required for parts close to hot zone, PC, PA+GF, PBT/PET+GF, PBT+GF, heat resistant ABS can be used;
The heat resistance of base is higher, and PBT/PET+GF, PET+GF can be used instead of metal parts.

The plastic material used in electric heater must be heat resistant, especially outlet grate.

(9) Magnetic hob, electric pan
Selected plastics include heat resistant ABS and high gloss heat resistant polypropylene.
(10) Electric kettle
Selected plastics include PC/ABS, Heat Resistant ABS and Glossy Heat Resistant Polypropylene.
(11) Humidifier
Selected plastics: transparent part (PC, GPPS), opaque part (ABS, glossy polypropylene)
(12) Juicer, soy milk machine
Types of plastics used: transparent parts (PC, AS, GPPS), opaque parts (ABS, glossy polypropylene).
(13) Coffee machine
Types of plastics used: transparent part (PC), opaque part (ABS, glossy polypropylene).
(14) Shaver
Types of plastics used: PC/ABS, ABS, polypropylene.
