1. PC
PC has good transparency and overall thermal stability. The disadvantage is poor health. Especially after a period of use, appearance looks dirty. It also refers to engineering plastics, i.e. organic glass such as polymethyl methacrylate and polycarbonate.
PC is widely used as a material for mobile phone cases, laptops, etc., especially for making milk bottles, space cups, etc. In recent years, baby bottles have been subject of controversy due to their presence of BPA A. Bisphenol A remains in PC, and higher temperature, more and faster it will be released. Therefore, PC water bottles should not contain hot water.
2、PE
PE is polyethylene. Such materials include polyethylene film, plastic film, and like. The heat resistance is not high. Generally, above 110°C, qualified PE film melts, leaving some plastic preparations that cannot be decomposed by human body.
While foods are wrapped in plastic wrap and heated, fat in food can easily dissolve harmful substances in plastic wrap. Therefore, when food enters microwave, remove wrapped plastic wrap first.
3、PP
Polypropylene material is an isotactic crystal with good heat resistance, but this material is brittle and easily damaged. The microwave lunch box is made of this material, which can be put into microwave oven. It is resistant to high temperatures of 130°C and is a plastic box with poor transparency. It can be used again after being thoroughly cleaned.
It should be noted that some microwave lunch boxes are #05 PP, but lid is #06 PS (polystyrene). The transparency of PS is medium, but it is not resistant to high temperatures, so it cannot be put in microwave along with box. Remove lid for safety before placing container in microwave.
4. PVC
PVC, also known as PVC, is a widely used plastic product in daily life, such as raincoats, building materials, plastic film and plastic boxes. Cheap price, good plasticity. But high temperature can only withstand 81℃.
Toxic and harmful substances are formed on surface of this type of plastic products during production process. These two substances are easily precipitated when exposed to heat and oil, and toxic substances enter human body with food, which easily causes cancer. There are currently fewer containers using this material in packaged foods. Don't let it get hot.
5. PET
This material is made of PET, polyethylene terephthalate, mineral water bottle, carbonated drink bottle. Hot water cannot be repeatedbut used in beverage bottles. The material withstands temperatures up to 70°C and is only suitable for hot or frozen drinks. If it is filled with high-temperature liquid or heated, it will be easily deformed, and harmful substances will be dissolved in human body.
6、PMMA
Polymethyl methacrylate, also known as PMMA, also known as press, acrylic or plexiglass, is known as pressure booster in Taiwan province and adhesive booster in Hong Kong. High transparency, low price, easy processing is a widely used glass substitute material. But its heat resistance is low, non-toxic. It is widely used in advertising logo production industry.
